What a wonderful …
What a wonderful exchange between guitar legends. Clearly Ed is in awe to be in such magical company and Les feels the same way.
Truly a rare moment.
Ed is a real guy. Les was a great human being.

You can’t compare …
You can’t compare Hendrix and Van Halen… It’s like choosing between water and food when you’re starving… you need both
December 20th, 2009 at 12:14 pm
Hendrix was great …
Hendrix was great but Eddie is better. Hendrix also had plenty of effects and he used the ones that people today want. Lack of effects wasn’t Hendrix’s problem. Drugging himself into oblivion was.

This is why I like …
This is why I like Eddie: he actually makes music when playing. Instead of playing like a typewriter, he gets music…
December 20th, 2009 at 12:14 pm
If Hendrix had …
If Hendrix had never lived it’s impossible to say what guitar would be today. You can’t compare Eddie to Hendrix in the first place. Much technology was invented between Hendrix’s time and Eddie’s. Imagine how much better Hendrix would be if he had electronics to do all those things he did with his fingers.
Hendrix can never be touched. The fact you think Eddie is outright better than Hendrix demonstrates an uneducated and inexperienced opinion, sorry no offense.
Hendrix > all - FACT

I love blues …
I love blues influenced rock/metal guitarists.
EVH, Slash, Gary Moore etc. I think that their blues influence makes them more of a musician with feeling, they really give me goose bumps when I hear them play.
Les Paul is sadly missed, he personally invented a sound, a true innovator in the guitar world.

A true MASTER! It’s not all flash and leads… he gives space to everyone else, and backs ‘em up with ass-kickin’ rhythm too.
