I also have a Dean 79 ml… Just tune it to drop C you may have to set it up & once it’s set up it will stay in drop C

Not really. Only to restring it with some good strings like Gibson Bright Wires and initially tune it to drop C. That way you don’t give the strings memory of the standard tune.

i dont have that …
i dont have that thing to measure neck relief. can I use a pick? you know they say like .10 . bla bla bla so i have a medium gauge pick tthat says .96 mm how close is that to the ideal relief for a fender stratocaster?
