ive got the as73g..and it plays waaaaayy better than a stand epi les paul, its all matter of opinion though, i like the sound of my as73g better than my friends standard paul, but hey whatever blows your skirt up.

You mean the les paul style body? No. They have their own bodies and occasionally use a strat style body, like Jackson does. I think the bodies are copyrighted, so you have to pay Fender or Gibson to use them.

I Agree in the respect that you can.. but some styles sound much better on certain guitars, for example metal works much better on ibanez and gibson than on a strat, but yeah,, I guess both are possible
