the epiphone junior is a pile of crap really it was my 1st guitar and ive got now ive got 3 epiphone les paul junior 57’s and when i play the them to tell difference between them you can really tell that the epiphone junior is complete junk, in my opinion the 57 re-issues are better then the gibson les paul juniors.

This guitar and the Junior model have nothing in common.
This guitar is solid mahogany, set neck, almost like a real Gibson. It’s “Epiphone Custom Shop”
The Junior model is a beginners guitar that beyond that is pretty much junk in my experience with them. Plywood?, bolt on neck, pretty drab sounding and not o fun to play.
One is a $80 guitar and the other, about $400 now and somewhat collectible. If you can get a ‘57 for a good deal get it. I recommend a good used Squier over the Junior model

to be sure are you talking about an Epiphone Special model and a Epiphone Junior model?

they are not anywhere’s near this guitar, this is a higher end guitar, solid mahogany with a set neck (epiphone custom shop) this is a ‘57 reissue Les Paul Junior,the bolt on neck guitarsthat may look similar to this shouldn’t be compared.
