57s have a MUCH …
57s have a MUCH chunkier neck, while the 59’s are a bit more taper, but its still substantial in comparison to a fender. between the’ 57 and the ‘60, the ‘59 has the most perfect neck shape; its a combination of comfort and substance..because standing up its a bit easier to grab your bendings and vibrato by having a little chunk to the neck profile. As far as quality, the ’59s have the same parts, but they use better wood so the sound overall is better than a ‘57

They both carry a …
They both carry a nitrocellulose finish right? Im thinking on buying a Les Paul custom shop, I don’t want a chambered one and I hear the VOS isnt chambered.
I was checking the guitars out and besides color I don’t see the difference between the custom vos 57 and the standard vos 59, even the pickups are the same, only difference i see is paint finishes.

gloss finish is …
gloss finish is more shiny, VOS is more faded.
anyway VOS means that they try to recreate the original LP sound in ‘57 models, basically through the burstbucker I & II pickups (before ‘57 were single coil p-90) and the lack of tonal chambers.
Maybe soon gonna buy myself a plain top 58 vos… hmmmm :-,

I see, when you buy …
I see, when you buy a Les paul VOS they give you the option between a VOS finish or a gloss finish. Gloss finish is more expensive, but what is the main difference?
Sorry for the noob questions, Gibsons recently caught my attention and I know more about Fender guitars.
