Black Beauty (Gibson 35th Anniversary Les Paul Custom Demo)

By: admin

Here is a Gibson 3 pickup Les Paul Custom I’ll be putting up for sale. It’s a 35th Anniversary model and somewhat collectible but it plays and sounds great and even stays in tune so it would make a great stage guitar for someone. It’s got some dings and wear, but is pretty clean for a 1989 guitar. The guitar is plugged straight into a Fender Super Sonic amp and there are no effects besides the built in reverb and gain/distortion. I am also using an Avatar 2×12 extension cabinet and all 3 speakers are atone 30’s. This video is shot on a Nikon Coolpix 3200 digital camera set on Video mode, so the quality is not that great…but you can still get a good idea of what this guitar can do. As for my playing, this is as usual for me just unrehearsed jamming.

Here is a link to my current eBay auctions if you are interested…

If you like what you hear, or are interested in any of my current or future used guitar offerings, subscribe…you’ll get a heads up on any guitar that I’ll be listing for sale on eBay as I post a video here first.

Thanks for watching!

    Better yet…buy a …
Better yet…buy a guitar with everything you want on it already…that way you KNOW what you are going to wind up with…change out anything on a guitar and that has an effect on the final sound…sometimes good, sometimes not…Floyd’s on a Gibson (all that routing…), probably not so good…but then again..you never KNOW until you try! Thanks for watching!

    Well on this type …
Well on this type of a guitar, it’s a Gibson. So putting a Kahler on it would be weird. But, i guess it would be cool.

Ugh, that’s a nice guitar. Looooooooooooooove the aged binding and toggle switch. amazing how a measly little toggle switch cap can enhance the beauty of a guitar, but it does.

    Les Pauls are hard …
Les Pauls are hard to play in the higher registers…you kind of have to take your thumb off the back of the neck and do some awkward reaching…it’s still a great guitar for anything your imagination lets you play on it…metal included…there are no real rules or guidelines…it’s all about player preference…and it’s cool to have a bunch of different guitars for different songs…
