Gibson Les Paul Standard. Very crappy sloppy playing…. but the amp sounds pretty good I think……. so I uploaded the video anyway.

I visited my friend’s music store “East Village Guitars” Fool around with this 1955 Vintage Gibson Les Paul guitar. Wow! A lot of feeling from this guitar. It’s really clear tone. I really enjoyed this.

Here is a quick comparison of the original 1955 Les Paul Junior and the ‘57 Historic Collction Les Paul Junior - which was recently fitted with an original 1950s P-90 and wiring harness. I’m playing straight into a Marshall Hadwired 2061x & 2061CX head and cabinet.

My mate brought round his totally original 1957 Les Paul Gold top so I could compare it to my 2007 59 reissue and hear the difference in sound, old wood, PAFs vs new wood with Skaterbrane A2 PAF clones.. playing through same amp same settings. The results were close, I would be interested to hear comments
