What’s the difference between a les paul epiphone custom and a les paul epiphone custom plus?
Just wondering what the plus is with the epiphone customs? Plus what?
The Plus has got a nice maple top on it.

My friend and i are having an argument on which guitar is better. To settle the fight, i decided to turn to th Internet.
For some reason your question has appeared in Visual Arts (Painting).
Try asking this in Entertainment & Music (Music).
The answer is going to be subjective, one person’s great guitar is guaranteed to be someone else’s disaster. Personally I’d go for the Les Paul copy (but I don’t much like either of them, I’d rather have a Telecaster).
Agree to differ and have a drink instead.
I know adam uses a Silverburst Les Paul Custom but I was wondering if there were any cheaper ones that even compair in tone for a laughing out loud $200-$300 dollers. I would also like to get a wah pedel that sounds like his but cheaper.
I dont’ know personally but I bet somebody knows at this web site http://www.tooltabs.net/forum_two/ Join my Tool group if you want at http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/toolfansunited/
I’m looking for a good guitar and i think the les paul is the one to go with. if anybody’s selling one please contact me.
http://www.ebay.com
its by far the coolest guitar in the world IMO so how would i get one or something like it?
Advertise, either in the newspaper, on somewhere like e-bay….I ‘m not crazy about buying guitars without first playing them but if this is something that you’ve been looking for but can’t find give that I try, you can always send it back if it’s not up to standard. Also try posting a large card on your local supermarkets bulletin board…… have you tried pawn shops ????,.good luck to you !!!!!
I was wondering if anyone new of a websight i could get hardware or even a ebay auction of like a complete set of hardware. and like i said its a gibson les paul so keep the parts along those lines. also if anyone knows of a websight i can find a neck that would be helpful to. i just finished the body and looking to move onto the next few steps

I havev an Epiphone les paul custom alpine white guitar. I bought it a year ago and now i want to sell it and buy a better guitar. However, i don’t know how much i should sell it for. any recommendations? i am thinking about 400 bucks? It is in very good condition.
i would get it valued. take it to a guitar store and ask. if not put it on ebay and sell it to the highest bidder
I was thinking something like a set of EMG’s, Seymour Duncan’s or something of a better standard than factory Gibson Les Paul’s humbuckers.
Has anyone with a similar experience or knowledge found better humbucker’s made a big difference in sound quality on an Epiphone Les Paul?
it makes a difference but i would put the money towards another guitar though…. i think you should put in the EMG’s cus thats what i use
the white is pretty white but there is the one that is like a yellow?
I know exactly what you mean. That is a Burny Les Paul guitar, which is an amazing japanese copy of the American Gibson Les Pauls. And to answer your original question, the Burny Les Paul was a custom cream color. Hope this helped man
Compare them.
Epiphone: $750
Samick: $600
Gibson: Err… $1199
Strats are good, but just aren’t my thing.
Hi Bender
So I gather you love the fat bluesy rock sound of a Gibson. Gibson have great sustain capability especially the Les Paul Studio Model. I has a maple top, mahogany neck, hand-sanded and with tremendous harmonic and soic capabilities.
The Epiphone Les Paul Custom does not have the real ebony-fingerboard, super slim frets like the real Gibson LP Custom.
The Samick can be purchased for under $500 on E-bay. Having said this, I tried one at my shop and was not impressed. The hardware was very nice but the fingerboard is in no way comparable to Gibson Les Paul Studio nor the Epiphone. But then, the difference in price shows this.
If you could afford the Gibson Studio, go for it because this is aninvestment that will eventually pay off later down the years. The major difference with Epiphone and all the other makes is that Gibson gets better with age. Not so with Epiphone, or any clones on the market.
When you buy an original Fender, Gibson, Jackson, Martin or whatever, the wood used is top-notch and has been aged properly. When you play them, the vibration of the wood penetrates in the wood and in the long run, the sound improves just like a vintage wine gets better and more expensive with time.
