I want a electric since i had my acoustic for a year.
I have several questions.
1. Which is the best?
a. Epiphone les paul special 2(vintage sunburst)

c.Squier standard strat or tele.

4.any other guitar u advice that is in that range

Epiphone sounds nice, i guess, but the esp looks cool and i don’t know the sound.

2. Should i buy a seperate amp with it or a bundle if there is one?

3.What amp should i buy? about 100 to 140 i ges

dude, get the epiphone les paul special 2. its cheap (at guitar center), looks better than its worth, and its excellent for begginers. the color is up to u.

I dont really care much about brand. but i know i want a les paul custom. i played an epiphone les paul custom and i really like it. i was wondering if the sound on a gibson or other copy sounds as good or better. especially since im on a strict budget.

Not so much difference in sound as in value . The Gibson will always maintain its value , in fact will increase in value as the years go by . The Epiphone while a good instrument won’t hold its monetary value near as well .

Of course you have noted that the Gibson is a much more expensive instrument and that the Epiphone is made by Gibson or at least bears the Gibson name .

I can’t seem to choose between the Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top Vintage Sunburst or the Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top Honey Burst.

Well of the 2 color choices you listed, I would probably go with the vintage sunburst.
Although I picked cherry sunburst for my epiphone les paul

not the black beauty or anything, just the regular custom, say the alpine white one with the gold hardware

ha ha ha yea the white one is super nice.

and no epiphone is just the cheap version of gibson.like for beginers.

they are still good guitars. but not as good as the gibson.

and they are alot cheaper than gibson.oh and they are made by gibson to.

John Thomas Griffith had no problem loaning his modded Gibson Les Paul Junior Special to his band’s other guitarist. After all, he has a custom built suede guitar. However, this video focuses on the borrowed Paul.

I am looking for a left handed Les Paul Junior guitar. It doesn’t have to be an original. It can be a copy. It does need to have only 1 pickup. Do you know of where I can find one?

try your local guitar/music stores. If they don’t have any they can order one in for you. If you can find any. Go to ebay.com. It’ll help

P.S Good choice of guitar. I have a white Gibson

I know the vintage 50’s & 60’s models are excellent and coveted. But I had heard that the 70’s & early 80’s ones are substandard. And that they got better in the 90’s, etc. How do the current ones compare?

they are all good but ppl look for 56 57 58 and 59 i see them on ebay alot and they go for alot of money too
