This is an old Romanian song. The original title is ”Sanie cu zurgalai” (Romanian for “Sledge with Bells”). Under the the title ”Johnny tu n’es pas un ange” It was also performed by Edith Piaf , Vaya con Dios, Gilda Giuliani, Chantal Câlin, Charlotte Yanni , Candan Erçetin etc.

Lovepedal half watt vintage amp, Bell and Howell cab with 7 inch speaker - maybe 8 inches. Gibson Les Paul Jr double cut with Kent Armstrong HP90 pick-up. Plugged straight into amp - no effects pedals. Close mic’d with a Zoom H2. Each section has the volume of the amp turned up a little more than the previous.
