Although this blog is dedicated to the Gibson Les Paul electric guitar, I found this unique video and wanted to include it because it was so interesting. Sound test starts at 5:50. I just purchased a new stack of Marshall Super 100JH Head and Cabinets Limited Edition, 40th Anniversary 2006. This hand-wired model is based on an original Super 100 reportedly owned by Hendrix in 1966. Only 600 stacks are available worldwide and only 3 are shipped to Hong Kong. Since the space limitation, I test half stack only. I use a Fender Jimi Hendrix Tribute Stratocaster and a Fuzz Face reissued by Jim Dunlop in 90’s. I’ll test this amp with other effects such as Roger Mayer Octavia, Vox Wah and Jim Dunlop Univibe/ Rotovibe later. Hope you all like it!

Materials: - Clamps - Tape (optional… I wanted to make sure I made the least mess possible on my pretty guitar, so I taped off a large section of the guitar.) - Titebond ORIGINAL glue (I used this: http://www.woodzone.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=323063&Category_Code=glue - Newspapers (makes the mess easy to clean up.) - Wet Rag(s) - Dry Rag(s) - An extra pair of hands! PLEASE USE THE LINK: IT WILL GIVE YOU BETTER INSIGHT INTO THE PROCESS.) ——————————————– So the story goes: a local luthier (who’s now sort of a friend because we go there sooo much and he’s really cool) had a bunch of broken headstock SGs and Les Paul that he bought in bulk from GC for cheap. The guitars were all being shipped from the factory when they were damaged in shipping, so they were 100% new from the middle of the neck down, with stickers and everything. So, I looked at all of them and he said I could pick the one with the cleanest break ( ). After going through them, I picked a sunburst Epiphone Les Paul Standard with a realllllly nice break. $95 dollars.
